<description>Changing the title tag will not directly result in an increase of traffic. There are many factors involved when you want to increase your traffic.
I have checked your site (patelligence - if this is the site you mean) and have to admit that your title tag could improve. You are using 4 main (very competitive) keywords in a row in this title tag, which doesn&#039;t stand out your website from other&#039;s.

For example: a local second hand computer store in Milton Florida

Title on homepage should be for example:
Second Hand Computers and Printers in Milton Florida

Then create sub pages for:
Second hand personal (windows)) computers
Second hand Apple computers
Second hand Notebooks
Second hand inkjet printers
Second hand laserjet printers
etc.

And create unique title tags for each page with the main keyword (apple, notebooks, etc.) in the title tag.

But do not put all the keywords of your products or services on one home page title tag.

Other ways to increase traffic:

Create informational (unique content) pages (for link bait)
Create compare lists
Create reviews
Offer free stuff (try outs, downloads, etc. tools, etc.)
Create a blog
Create a how-to list (101 list)
etc.

Unique content for users and for link bait will certainly let grow you popularity and finally also your traffic.

Good luck with your site!

		<description>Great tips! Thanks for sharing.

I&#039;m currently re-designing a website that needs an increase in traffic, so from an SEO perspective, what to you think i&#039;s better:

a) Change the title meta tag, or
b) Leave the title meta-tag as is, and change body text?\

Any thoughts?</description>
